课程特点
项目时长仅一年
经济学硕士项目的全日制学生会在港大学习至少一个学年，最多两个学年。 正常情况下学生都会 在一学年完成所有课程 。
课程以模块化的方式提供，让学生可以一次专注于一个学习领域。通常每个模块历时七到八周（包括考试周），所有课程均以英文授课。
理论与应用相结合
虽然项目时间短，但是一年制全日课程揉合了理论及培训，以确保学生能熟练应用所学习的专业知识。学生将学习分析和定量技术，以了解尖端研究，并为现实世界的经济问题开发创造性的解决方案。
课程设置灵活、多元化
学生可以选择各种不同方向的课程，包括 数据分析方向 **（Data Analysis Stream）， 政策分析方向 （Policy **AnalysisStream）和学术方向（Academic Stream），以满足学生的兴趣和职业抱负。

录取情况
港大商学院经济学硕士去年录取的学生中，平均年龄为23岁，最小20岁，最大30岁；有27%的学生有工作经验，最少一年，最多5年，平均为2年；录取学生的GMAT成绩则从640-760分不等。

持有认可的学士学位
两封推荐信，陈述推荐原因
托福/雅思成绩* （若本科用英文授课可豁免）
Obtain a TOEFL/IELTS* score if you are not from an English-medium university (*A score of 577 or above (paper-based test), 233 (computer-based test), or 90 (internet-based test) in TOEFL, or a minimum overall band of 7 with no subtest lower than 6.5 in IELTS is required)
根据港大官网消息，只要你的语言成绩在 递交申请时未过期 即可：TOEFL and IELTS score reports are valid for two years only. GMAT score reports are valid for five years. For example, if you submit your application form on February 2, 2017, then only the report of TOEFL/IELTS test taken after February 1, 2015 is considered valid. Also, please make sure you can arrange the official test report to us in time as the test authorities may not issue your report when the test result has expired.
但官方 并没有规定本科背景，也没有要求申请人必须有GRE/GMAT成绩^ ，但明确写明了非商科学生最好修读过商科课程或有相关工作经验，并且如果申请人拥有优秀的GRE/GMAT成绩则会增加被录取的几率
^GMAT/GRE scores are not required, but a good GMAT/GRE score will be favorably considered
值得注意的是港大采取滚动录取的方式，因此 越早递交申请，被录取得就越早，且被录取的几率也越大 ；当然，早些递交申请，港大也会有足够的时间审核你的申请材料。另外早点拿到录取就有足够的时间处理签证等各项来港前需准备的事宜。
