1 美国留学签证种类
首先来说说美国留学签证的种类。美国的学生签证主要分为两种，分别是F-1签证和M-1签证。
1、F-1签证
这是最常见的学生签证类型。如果你希望在获得美国政府承认的学校(包括获得认证的美国大学或学院、私立中学或获得批准的英语学习项目等等)就读，应申请F-1签证。此外，如果每周学习课程超过18小时，也应申请F-1签证。
2、M-1签证
如果你希望在美国的非学术或职业教育机构进行学习或培训，应申请M-1签证。

2、您认为可以作为申请支持材料的资金证明和任何其他文件：证明您有充足的资金支付第一学年的所有开销，并且能够为在美停留期间的所有剩余开销找到足够的资金来源。M-1签证申请人必须证明其有能力支付在美停留期间的所有学费和生活费。

最后说一些注意的要点：
.1.不要等到8月份才来申请你的学生签证。等到最后一刻申请可能会导致你错过开学的时间。学生签证申请人允许在学术项目开始前的120天申请，所以请大家尽早开始申请。

.5. 很多申请人想知道面谈应该带什么材料。由于每一位申请者的情况不同，签证处不对申请者的支持性材料做出具体的规定。虽然支持性材料很重要，但是签证官的最终决定是基于面谈过程中您所展现的整体情况。请坦诚相对，并记住：签证面谈是整个流程中最重要的一环。
.6.有些地方提到“学生签证和交流访问学者在面谈时不需要提交I-20/DS-2019表”，这是不正确的。前来面谈时请务必携带您的I-20/DS-2019表格原件。不携带I-20/DS-2019表原件参加面谈将延迟您的签证申请。
